As part of my internship with Two Be Wed I worked different marketing events for the company. Often times there are events or shows for engaged couples to "shop" vendors for their wedding. As a wedding planning firm Two Be Wed is involved with many of these events as the primary wedding planning vendor. I assisted in the set up of these events but primarily worked as an ambassador for the brand speaking to potential clients about the services offered. The goal of such interactions was to get a couple to fill out a contact form detailing the planning services they are most interested so that we can contact them and, ideally, sign a contract with them. These events gave me a strong understanding of the art of speaking with potential clients and answering their questions in such a way that they left trusting you and wanting our services. I also earned valuable network connections by speaking with other industry vendors present at such events.
I have included personal iPhone pictures below of 2 of my favorite Two Be Wed marketing events.
Private Registry Events: Crate and Barrel in Houston, TX
Crate and Barrel is a store in River Oak is a national chain of high end home goods. The location in Houston, TX held a private registry event for engaged couples featuring a range of prime Houston wedding vendors. Two Be Wed was chosen to plan the event and was the only wedding planning company featured at the event. I was in charge of running the color experiment booth. The color experiment is unique to Two Be Wed, it is an activity comprised of paint chips and fabric samples of every color in which couples can go through and build their own color palette for their wedding. I assisted couples in finding colors that best suited their vision, venue, and season.
Evening of Bridal Luxury: Briar Club in Houston, TX
The Evening of Bridal Luxury is a bridal showcase put on my Modern Luxury Magazine. Two Be Wed was asked to plan and design this large scale event and I volunteered as a day-of coordinator for the Two Be Wed Color Experiment booth. I spoke with upwards of 25 brides as they made their way through the showcase. I informed each bride of the services and pricing that Two Be Wed offers for wedding and event planning and walked them each through the Color Experiment to build their own color palette.
